Information about Classes

Kathak lessons for kids aged 5 years old and up or adults available in Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC. Current class timing:

Monday 10am - 11am (intermediate adults)
Monday 11am - 12pm (beginners adults)
Wednesday 6:15 - 7:15pm (enrollment closed)
Thursday 4:15 - 5:15pm (enrollment closed)
Thursday 5:15 - 6:15pm (beginners)
Thursday 6:15 - 7:15pm (beginners)
Friday 5:10 - 6:10pm (intermediate)
Friday 6:15 - 7:15pm (beginners adults)

Adding more batches each month as needed.

Class Policies

Students are expected to dress appropriately for classes - Salwar Kurti or leggings and tunic top with dupatta are acceptable.
Hair should be neatly tied back in a pony tail or braid.
Students should bring a notebook for taking notes.
Students are expected to practice weekly lessons at home. How fast students progress is highly dependent on consistent effort and practice.
If students cannot make it to a scheduled class they should inform Ashwini ahead of time. Make up classes may be offered solely at Ashwini's discretion.
Parents are kindly requested not to stay in the class during lessons as this is distracting to the students. Periodically parents will have oportunities to observe the class
